TCEC
The Text Capture and Electronic Conversion package is a project undertaken
by members of the Cataloging Directorate at the United States Library of
Congress. One of their programs, Electronic CIP (E-CIP) is lets the user
make MARC records from
information obtained through electronic means (telnet, ftp, WWW). One
highlights text, then clicks on a MARC field button to create the
record for that field. The Library of Congress has a
demo page available.
